Gender Links has utilised the findings of its VAW research project and the Voice and Choice barometer to collaborate with governments and provinces in South Africa in developing 365-day national action plans to end GBV, moving from 16-day action plans to longer-term strategies. Many of these have since been updated (see the latest GBV barometer chapter).
