My name is, Lapido Jacinto Loureiro, married, father of three daughters, Master of Technology Management and Engineering training mechanic, born in Montepuez, Cabo Delgado. I am currently the President of the Municipal Council of Vila Boane, I am a charismatic leader and result-oriented, my satisfaction is my team and above all, the citizens. My vision is to make Boane a rapidly developing Municipality, welcoming and a reference.I have to Main Objective, generate better services to citizens and I am committed to gender equality and is doing everything in order to balance the gender in the institution that drive, just say that the 135 officials and state agents that the Municipality has 80 are women and 56 are men.My work is characterized by the production and leadership of implementing strategies with a view to providing better services to the municipalities. This task has several challenges, for the time being it has been my great concern to be with the municipalities, through open presidencies as a way of listening to their concerns and together making a municipality environmentally friendly, which is why we launched the initiative “Boane, Municipality of Green”.At the community level it is also my concern to improve the living conditions of the municipalities, by improving the water supply system, access routes, collection and management of solid waste and expansion of the electricity network, as well as issues related to climate change, by that, in 2017, we launched the project, “Municipality of Green”, with the objective of contributing to the mitigation of climatic problems and minimizing the destruction of houses, schools and other infrastructures due to the calamities arising from climate change. At the policy level, continue to work to improve the living conditions of the municipalities and implement the plan outlined by the Council. I have a great challenge, which is to contribute to the implementation of gender equality in the Municipality, and in order to achieve this challenge, I encourage girls to participate in training, with scholarships for 6 employees, of whom 5 are women. Still in this context, it is worth noting the fact that gender balance is being prioritized in the jobs in our municipality, as well as in management positions.
