Zambia: Teen advises HIV testing and treatment

According to this media report, adolescent girls and young women aged 15 to 24 face more than three times the risk of contracting HIV compared to their male counterparts. Based on 2025 reports, Zambia estimates about 11 000 new infections among adolescents. Of these, adolescent girls and young women account for 8700, while adolescent boys and young men account for 2300.
