Debrah Mukuku
With more than 20 years of working experience in integrating marketing expertise, customer service, banking and finance, and as relationship management, Debrah is well-placed to lead the Southern Africa regional hub.
She is often to be found liaising with clients such as the European Union, United Nations (UN) agencies, the Canadian High Commission and the French Embassy. She also serves as our Company Secretary and Compliance and Integrity Officer.
A Zimbabwean, Debrah has worked in Zambia and South Africa and joined Gender Links in 2013, Debrah joined Gender Links as Cottages and Conferencing Manager. She developed the cottages into a thriving income-generating unit, despite the 2020-22 Covid-19 pandemic. In September 2021, Debrah took the lead role in the virtual coordination of the Young African Women’s Entrepreneurship Challenge Awards on behalf of UN Women across South Africa, Kenya and Uganda.
