Thenjiwe Ngcobo

Thenjiwe Ngcobo is the WVL Grants and Networking Coordinator. She is a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in gender advocacy, community development, and stakeholder engagement. Her career reflects a steadfast commitment to addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), child protection, and promoting equality and empowerment for vulnerable groups. Ms. Ngcobo holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Philosophy, Politics, and Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her expertise spans project management, policy development, training, and multidisciplinary approaches to Child protection and GBV prevention. In January 2025, Ms. Ngcobo joined Gender Links as the WVL Grants and Networking Coordinator, where she continues to leverage her expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and gender advocacy to drive impactful initiatives across the region.
