
Siphelele Kunene

Siphelele Kunene is a passionate advocate for women's empowerment and community development. At 32 years old, she holds an N6 Nated Marketing Management qualification from uMgungundlovu TVET College. Her journey began with an 18-month in-service training, during which she made a notable impact by presenting the 'One Million Pads Campaign' to funders in 2016.
In 2017, Siphelele joined Sasopsbiz as a volunteer to complete her training, and her dedication led to her absorption as an intern. This marked the beginning of a fulfilling career rooted in gender equality and economic empowerment. She has actively contributed to key initiatives such as the Phakamisa Girls Economic Empowerment Program and Sasopsbiz Women In Trades.
Through her involvement, Siphelele has experienced profound personal and professional growth. Her journey reflects a commitment to learning, leadership, and uplifting women in her community. Today, she continues to thrive within Sasopsbiz, embodying the values of transformation and empowerment championed by Gender Links.
