Project: The Marang Chronicles: Loud, Proud & Rooted

LGBTQI+ persons in Namibia, particularly in rural areas, Gobabis, and Rehoboth, face entrenched stigma, violence, and a lack of access to affirming health and psychosocial services. The isolation experienced in these towns, combined with the absence of human rights documentation mechanisms, limits both legal visibility and policy response. MPower Community Trust, a Namibian NGO working with key populations, seeks to address this gap by anchoring programming in human rights documentation, psychosocial healing, community empowerment, and evidence-based policy engagement.
