Lifeline Northern Cape

LifeLine Northern Cape is a registered non-profit public benefit organisation with Section 18A status. The Organisation has been operating in the Northern Cape since 2009 and focus on four pillars: HIV&AIDS, SGBV&F, Emotional Wellness and Training.

The SHEroes project aims to empower young girls in grades 8 and 9 from rural communities by providing career guidance in male-dominated fields such as aviation, science, mining, and maritime industries. The project also focuses on emotional and mental health, as well as sexual and reproductive health, particularly encouraging the delay of sexual debut to reduce teenage pregnancies. Additionally, participants will receive monthly dignity packs containing sanitary towels and basic toiletries, addressing a significant barrier to their school attendance and well-being. The Programme will be implemented in Sol Plaatje sub-district, in the Frances Baard District.
