Project: Rainbow Justice – A legal empowerment initiative for LGBTQI+ equality in Namibia
This project aims to enhance legal protection, access to justice, and equal treatment for LGBTQI+ persons in Namibia through legal aid, strategic litigation and community outreach. The focus areas include family law (marriage, divorce, child maintenance, domestic violence, child protection, adoption) and other forms of discrimination against LGBTQI+ persons (e.g employment & health). The initiative will address both systemic exclusion and individual rights violations, offering free legal assistance, psychosocial referrals, and public education to reduce stigma and discrimination.
