Impact

WOSSO is driven by the work and voices of its Fellows. Through their placements, advocacy and engagement, fellows contribute to real change, from influencing policy conversations to strengthening community responses and amplifying feminist voices. Impact does not only mean a policy change. For WOSSO, impact may include strengthened confidence, stronger advocacy skills, new networks, improved visibility, contribution to research, participation in policy spaces, community engagement and organisational support.

WOSSO fellows are contributing to change in different ways through advocacy, research, community engagement, communications and policy influence. Fellows and partners contribute reflections, commentary and analysis on key gender equality issues. This creates space for thought leadership and allows fellows to share their perspectives in their own voices.

WOSSO fellows engage in spaces that shape gender equality outcomes at national, regional and global levels. This includes participation in policy dialogues, contributions to campaigns and communications, engagement in regional and global platforms and support to organisational advocacy efforts. This section can be updated with key events, convenings and advocacy moments as they happen.
