Vivien Bakainaga
People team lead, GL Regional Hub
Vivian's years of working with international development organisations, regional nongovernmental organisations and the South African constitutional body has exposed her to a diverse workforce and ensured she is comfortable working in different cultures.
Vivian first joined Gender Links in 2009, as the Human Resources and Administration Manager, and left in 2016, to join the USAID Trade Investment Hub. After the USAID hub closed in 2022, she worked as a private sector human resources consultant working. In October 2023 she returned to us, as People Team Lead.
Vivian describes herself as a strong team player, who approaches others respectfully and empathically without compromising the outcome.
