Tabetha Kanengoni-Malinga

Tabetha began her career in politics, becoming the youngest deputy minister in Zimbabwe at age 31. She won a constituency seat in Mazowe (one of the few women to win such a seat) and worked with community-based women’s rights organisations in her constituency.
She went on to found The Organisation of Young Women With Dignity that received funding first from WVL and then from VCSA Fund. TOFYWD won awards at the recent WVL summit for its use of social media and innovative use of technology – notably Monday.com.
After the summit, Tabetha ran a seminar for WVL grantees on use of this platform and has since been mentoring two VCSAFund grantees on its use (for planning, finance and IT). Her formidable force of young volunteers (whom she organises on Monday.com) do amazing work on menstrual health.
