With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience across government, NGO, private sector, and donor-funded environments, Ntone Ts’ehlana is well-placed to drive impactful initiatives as the Programme Manager at Gender Links Lesotho. He brings a proven track record of program management, strategic execution, and operational management across complex, multi-sector portfolios valued at up to €38 million.
He is highly skilled in strengthening organizational systems, designing risk management and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks to ensure measurable results across gender equality, policy advocacy, and social development programs. Ntone is well-versed in navigating complex donor compliance structures, with extensive experience managing resources from major international bodies including the European Union, the World Bank and Millennium Challenge Account.
A Lesotho citizen, Ntone has built a comprehensive career driving program quality and institutional growth within the region. Before joining Gender Links, he served as Project Manager for Inclusive Policy & Governance Advocacy at Catholic Relief Services (CRS), leading multi-district, EU-funded policy program and building the capacity of civil society organizations to champion public accountability and social inclusion. Also at CRS, he served as Project Manager for Resource Mobilization Institutional Capacity Strengthening, where he directed improvement plans that achieved a 33% increase in self-generated revenue for local partners. During his tenure at CRS, he also stepped up to provide short-term leadership as the Acting Head of Programming and Acting Program Quality Manager. His diverse management background further features extensive private sector experience as Operations Manager directing multi-branch national operations, and spearheaded digital transformations.
Ntone holds an impressive suite of qualifications, including postgraduate credentials in Strategic Management & Leadership, Leadership Development, Business Analysis, Project Management and Monitoring & Evaluation. He holds multiple professional certifications across project management and data analytics, enabling him to integrate rigorous, evidence-based systems that foster sustainable growth and adaptive decision-making.
