Michelle has more than eight years of experience in gender justice, human rights and programme management. At Wosso, she supports the coordination and delivery of a bold, cross-regional feminist agenda that centres the leadership, safety and agency of women across the Global South.
Her previous roles include work with the Rozaria Memorial Trust, the Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association, the Zimbabwe Women’s Resource Centre and Network, and Deaf Zimbabwe Trust.
Michelle has a Masters degree (LLM) in Law, with a specialisation in sexual and reproductive rights in Africa, from the University of Pretoria, and a LLB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is passionate about building cross-border feminist solidarity, restoring dignity through policy and practice, and ensuring that the lived experiences of marginalised women and girls inform the heart of global advocacy.
