
Jayantee Gokhool

Jayantee Gukhool is a Mauritian professional with extensive experience in international development, institutional leadership, governance, communications and capacity building. She currently is working for an international African organisation, where she contributes to institutional coordination, governance and strategic operations.
She previously served as the Representative of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in Mauritius, leading the organisation’s national operations and overseeing administrative, financial and strategic activities. In this capacity, she developed partnerships with government institutions, universities, diplomatic missions and other strategic stakeholders, while coordinating regional and international programmes across the Indian Ocean and sub-Saharan Africa.
Jayantee holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Queen Mary University of London, with specialisations in corporate governance, international commercial arbitration, compliance and contract law. She also holds a Master’s degree in Law, Economics and Management – Business Creation and Entrepreneurship from Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV, France, and a Master’s degree in Information and Communication from Université Paris 8, France.
Her professional experience includes entrepreneurship development, mentoring and capacity building, supporting young entrepreneurs, women and other stakeholders through training, incubation and institutional programmes and extensive knowledge of the Indian Ocean and sub-Saharan Africa regions.
