
Brinda Chiniah

Brinda Chiniah is a Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Leader with over 20 years of experience driving impactful strategies across Africa. As a senior executive at Nestlé, Brinda has shaped corporate reputation, led ESG and sustainability initiatives, and influenced high-level stakeholders in more than 20 markets, reaching over 450 million consumers. Her leadership has delivered transformative programmes, including nutrition education for over 760,000 students and rural development support for 120,000+ farming families.
Brinda is recognized for her expertise in public affairs, crisis management, and building strategic partnerships with governments, UN agencies, NGOs, and the private sector. She has spearheaded regional ESG and plastics neutrality initiatives and served as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. Brinda’s commitment to social impact and sustainability has earned her nominations for the WBCSD Women Leading Awards and recognition in leadership programmes at London Business School and GIBS University.
Brinda holds an MBA in Strategy & Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and a B.Sc. in Management Studies from the University of Mauritius. She is passionate about empowering communities, advancing sustainability, and fostering organizational excellence across diverse markets.
