By George Ntini

My name is George Ntini l am the chairperson of the Zimbabwe Bio-Harvest Cooperative. My business started to grow when l joined the program because l now know how to do the business plan, do market research, and record keeping. I learnt a lot from the trainings l received which involves business registration to operate legally.

I also learnt about opening bank account for transparency and accountability. The program taught me how to run a business and my business is now flourishing. I am now able to do budgeting as well as calculate profit and loss of my business.

I am now a changed person since l joined the program because l can now take care of my family, communicate well with my wife, and pay school fees for my children. I am now using IT to advertise my products on social media, collaborate with others and consistently supply my existing customers.

The program contributed a lot in to my business including the following: improved decision making, increased efficiency, better networking opportunities, and skills development. I empowered my community and they also see me a role model. I didn’t receive any tender from council but they are mentoring me.
