South Africa: Powerful entrepreneurs advance

The Northern Cape Magareng and Phokwane Provincial Summit took place on 2–3 December 2025 at GL Cottages, bringing together 27 powerful women entrepreneurs under the Start-Up and Established categories. This final provincial summit created a platform for participants to showcase their business journeys and prepare for the Regional Summit. The energy was inspiring as women confidently shared how far they have come through the Sunrise Campaign.

The growth of the participants was evident, many testified about their increased confidence, improved financial management, and growing customer bases. Their pride in achieving financial freedom was clear. These women have truly transformed, both personally and professionally, since the programme began. Their commitment to building sustainable businesses showed in every presentation.

The Awards Ceremony, held at 18h00 at GL Cottages, was an unforgettable celebration. The women arrived looking radiant and elegant, some almost unrecognisable in their beautiful evening outfits. For many, this summit was also their first experience sleeping in a hotel, making the event even more memorable and meaningful. It was a moment of dignity, joy, and achievement.

A historic moment of the night was the three-way tie for Runner-Up 2 in the Start-Up Category.

The Start-Up winners were: Phumeza Riah Mguzulu (Winner), Tshiamo Gloria Gabanakgosi (Runner-Up 1), and the three Runner-Up 2 achievers: Sindiswa Ndaba, Kereeditse Lucas, and Matshe Rens.
