Enforce laws, aimed at eliminating all forms of Gender Based Violence

It is a good practice because for so many years, Gender Based Violence lived on and it affected mostly women and children, in our African culture it was believed that whenever a woman or child does wrong, the only way to correct them is to beat them up and for that reason, they (victims) saw it as a normal thing and never reported it to anyone or to the Police, it was only after the police started teaching people that it was wrong to do that and apprehending the offenders/perpetrators, that is when a lot of people became aware of the GBV and started coming forth to report it.Key objectives What did the process set out to do? (250 words)1. To provide confidentiality to victims of Gender Based Violence by having focal persons in our station, who are specifically trained on Gender based violence matters, and this are the people who deal directly with victims of Gender Based Violence.2. To work hand in hand with the community to help us combat cases of Gender Based Violence of any kind.3. To keep a record of all Gender Based Violence cases reported in our station daily.4. To hand a report of our Gender Based Violence statistics to our head office on a monthly basis.5. To apprehend the offenders of Gender Based Violence and ensure that we bring them to justice.
