Victoria Falls is situated in the Matabeleland North province being a tourist attraction centre in Zimbabwe which is considered one of the seven wonders of the world (The mighty Victoria Falls) some 435 kilometers from Bulawayo.

Victoria Falls is situated in the Matabeleland North province being a tourist attraction centre in Zimbabwe which is considered one of the seven wonders of the world (The mighty Victoria Falls) some 435 kilometers from Bulawayo.
The council offers a variety of services which you can find on their website here. According to the 2022 population census council served 10,242 households with an average size of 3.5 per household. The council is a spoke council in the hub and spoke programme for gender mainstreaming in local government. The council is mentored by Bulawayo City Council. The council attended their first summit post the SDG agenda in 2020.
Key Achievements
Finalist in the institutional category for its outstanding performance in gender equality efforts in 2020.
Involved in the adoption of the ZiLGA Gender Policy in 2011.
