Over the years Tsumeb Municipality has committed itself to the development of the town of Tsumeb to make it a socially and economically sustainable town of golden opportunities.

Introduction

Tsumeb was established in 1905 and celebrated its Centenary (100 years of existence) in October 2005. Tsumeb was proclaimed a municipal area in 1963. In 1968, Tsumeb has declared a municipality in terms of the Municipal Ordinance no. 13 of 1963. Over the years Tsumeb Municipality has committed itself to the development of the town of Tsumeb to make it a socially and economically sustainable town of golden opportunities in a young and independent Namibia where all people can partake in its richness and diversity
