Sephokong Community Council COE

The community spans a broad area and incorporates a number of villages—including, among others, Ha Au, Ha Jonathane, Ha Isaka, Phahameng, and Manyakheng. Its elevated terrain (about 1,614 meters above sea level) and dispersed settlements reflect the geographic diversity common to many rural Lesotho communities.

The primary local body is the Sephokong Community Council, a statutory authority responsible for coordinating grassroots development, managing natural resources, and delivering basic services such as water, sanitation, and public health.
