Rural municipality of Tsiafahy
Centre of excellence since 2011, the rural commune of Tsiafahy is located in the region of Analamanga, about 20 kilometers from the capital. The municipality has about 17,000 inhabitants and is divided into 15 Fokontany (villages). The main economic activities of the population are livestock breeding, agriculture, mainly strawberry production and jam. The commune has 13 public primary schools, one public secondary school under construction and three private secondary schools.
