Regarding gender and the fight against violence, the municipality already has a committee on this issue, and both men and women participate. The municipality has also made efforts to find funding to carry out all the work plans, which was marked by the completion of schools and the provision of clean drinking water in 2012-2013.
Regarding violence in particular, the commune also made significant efforts as it built a shelter to accommodate women who are victims of violence or are fleeing. This was done to specifically protect women and their lives. The municipality also participates in providing food for those who have been victims of such incidents.
