Introduction
The town of Okahandja has completed stage 1-7 and the new COE stages 4-5. This town also participated in both National and regional gender justice and local government Summits receptively. The Council in its strategic workplan 2010-15 has prioritized gender and equity. It has established various committees like HIV & Aids, Housing and many other in which women are playing a major role. Is has now a COE combined Action Plan.
