Letlhakeng or Lethakeng is an urban village in Kweneng District of Botswana. The village is located 75ÿkm north-west of Molepolole. The population of Letlhakeng was 6,032 in the 2001 census.

Introduction

Kgalagadi is the fourth largest districtin Botswana and it is situated in the South West of the country lying along the country’s border with South Africa. The district covers a vast area of the Kalahari desert. 26 councillors represent the people of the area, who resides in the constituencies of Kgalagadi South and North. Administratively the council operates from its main offices in Tsabong and Hukuntsi being headquarters and sub headquarters respectively. .
