LTC has a structure culturally designed to cater for implementation of gender issues, address to challenges, and adheres to it:  LTC Gender Framework Action Plan LTC Strategic Plan 2011/16 Lobatse Urban Development Plan 3 (UDP) 2009/10- 2015/16 Appointment of trained Gender mainstreaming Supervisor & Gender Focal Person Formulation of LTC gender committee and district committee. Gender Meetings Slot on gazetted district meetings Secured Funds on the council recurrent budget for Gender mainstreaming Participatory Slum upgrading(PSUP) Lobatse Local Team Quarterly Performance Reviews on appointed officers assigned to coordinate gender unit Recognised reporting- Focal Person reporting to Supervisor, then to Town Clerk, Council Management then eventually Full Council.
