| Gender Links
Gender-based violence (GBV) is a violation of human rights. Madagascar is not spared from this scourge that has continued to grow following the socio-political crises that have hit the country in recent years. Indeed, the National Survey on Monitoring the Millennium Development Goals (ENSOMD) conducted in 2012/2013 indicates that women suffer various forms of violence, including physical, sexual, psychological and economic. 30% of women experience several types of violence.
