Botswana: #MakeGBVEveryonesConcern campaign launched

A new campaign has been launched to help end Gender-Based Violence in Botswana. The hashtag  #MakeGBVEveryonesConcern is led by Botswana Council of NGOs in partnership with BONELA, supported by the Embassy of Finland in Pretoria.

The organizations say Botswana continues to grapple with high levels of GBV, which undermines human rights, equality, and national development goals. This comes amid the rising cases of GBV, with various areas across the country reporting a surge in the number of rape, defilement and murder cases.
