She started her career in the airline catering industry working with numerous international airlines and focused on food production and catering management. She then moved on to African countries managing large mining camp staff and management canteens before returning to South Africa to focus on chef development and the management of both 3 and 5 star Tourism graded Guesthouses.
She specializes in taking different areas of operations within an organization and getting them to operate together for optimal performance
