Home Based Project for PLHIV

A partnership has been built with Gender Links Mauritius and Media Watch. The European Union/ Decentralised Coorperation Programme, the Aids Unit, the Ministry of Health & Quality of Life, the Municipal Council of Mauritius, Media Watch Mauritius,the National Aids Secretariat, NGOs working in the field of HIV has also been built so as to provide effective services. This has also helped us to train our workers working at grassroot level. The alliance helped us in finding good ways of working together and by sharing good practices. Empowerment of women have been a contributing factor to help them know their rights concerning violence in all forms. It has also helped them to know about their human rights and becoming assertive.
