GBV action plans

The review of the Gender based Action Plan during the 16 days of activism is a good practice. This was done by Goromonzi Rural District Council with the purpose of conducting and audit of the current Local Gender Based Violence action plans. It also aims at aligning the targets in the action plan to the findings from research and to enhance the role of economic development for women and link up survivors of violence with economic opportunities .This practice also targets on developing Gender Based Violence indicators as a tool for strengthening, monitoring and evaluation of GBV action plans. Last but not least it helps to counsel the victims and perpetrators of violence in different households and in the community as a whole. T
