Sikhonzile Ndlovu joined Genderlinks in January 2007. Her entry into the media fraternity was in 2001 when she worked for The Financial Gazette, an independent financial newspaper in Zimbabwe, as an intern. She also worked for the Media Monitoring Project Zimbabwe for 3 years as a Research Officer. It was during this time that she became actively involved in media gender monitoring under GemZi. She has also worked as a volunteer in Phuket, Thailand following the December 2004 Tsumani. Sikhonzile holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Media and Communication, both from the University of Zimbabwe. She is currently studying for a Masters in Media Studies with the University of the Witwatersrand.
