Mukayi Makaya GL Services Manager (glservices@genderlinks.org.za) Mukayi joined GL in December 2008. She manages the Gender Links Services portfolio, which includes consultancy, advisory services and training; as well management and marketing of the GL bed, breakfast and conferencing facility, GL Cottages. Mukayi holds a BBA Marketing Degree from the Institute of Marketing Management; Marketing Diploma with the London Chamber of Commerce Institute; Public Relations Diploma with the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Relations. She is currently studying towards an Honours in Communication Science with the University of South Africa. Prior to joining Gender Links, Mukayi worked for the Southern African Research and Documentation Centre (SARDC) in Zimbabwe for over five years as Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Her career began in 1997 in the private sector working in the travel and tourism industry, before moving to the fast moving consumer goods (FMCGs) industry. Mukayi's interests include counseling and support to victims of gender based violence. Her hobbies include running, travelling, reading and dancing. |

Gladys Muzirwa Executive Assistant (execassistant@genderlinks.org.za) Gladys joined Gender Links in June 2009 as an intern for a period of six months. At the end of the internship programme, she was assigned to the Deputy Director as a Programme Assistant, and then moved to the Monitoring and Evaluation programme, and where she served until December 2010. She assumed the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO from January 2011. Gladys joined the GL Cottages team in August 2010 as Executive & Marketing Assistant. She holds a BSc Honours Degree in Administration from the University of Zimbabwe. Gladys is passionate about gender justice, her interests include dancing, travelling and shopping. |

Nancy Padare Senior Housekeeper (marketing@glcottages.co.za) Nancy joined Gender Links in 2002. She has worked as the Receptionist and House keeper of Gender Links. She has extensive experience in house management, including clerical work and office catering. Since March 2011, Nancy is assigned to the GL Cottages holding the position of Senior Housekeeper. Her interests and hobbies include swimming and watching television. |

Sally Makhudu Chef Sally joined the Cottages in 1999. She served as a Chambermaid and rose through the ranks to the position of Chef, which she currently holds. She has a certificate in Home Economics obtained from Paula Black Training Centre. She brings with her a wealth of over twenty five years experience in the hospitality and catering industry. Sally's interest and hobbies include going to church, visiting old people but overall she desires to open a chreche since she loves children. |

David Makhudu Assistant chef David joined the GL Cottages in 2009. He holds the position of Chef's Assistant. His interests and hobbies include cooking, catering, playing music and soccer. |

Joe Mathebula Security Officer Joe joined GL Cottages in 2002. He holds the position of Security Officer. He is passionate about his work and brings with him a wealth of experience in the security industry. His interest and hobbies include playing soccer and swimming. |

Thandazile Constance Mncube House Assistant Thandazile joined the GL Cottages in 1996. She holds the position of Chambermaid. Thandi enjoys her job and is passionate about clean surroundings. Her hobbies and interests include singing and going to church. |

Felitus Ncube House Assistant Felistus joined the GL Cottages in March 2011. She does housekeeping and makes sure all the rooms are up to date all the time. Felistus enjoys reading magazines and novels during her spare time. |

Siyabonga Nkosinathi Phungula Gardner Siyabonga joined GL Cottages in 2004. He holds the position of Gardner. He holds a Certificate in Landscaping and Gardening; and brings with him extensive experience. His interest and hobbies include watching TV, playing soccer, reading magazines and shopping. |

Chukele Baloyi Gardner Chukele joined GL Cottages in January 2012. He holds the position of Gardner as well as handy person. He holds a Certificate in Handy work and Gardening; and brings with him extensive experience. His interest and hobbies include exercising and watching movies. |
