Gender Links, with support from the Ford Foundation has developed a training manual for communicators on Gender, HIV/AIDS and the Media.
This was done in partnership with the AIDS Law Project of the Centre for Applied Legal Studies - University of Witwatersrand.
The manual was tested in three SADC countries and is being tested in all 11 provinces in South Africa. In May 2003, based on this manual, GL conducted a Training of Trainers workshop, to disseminate this training tool widely among communication trainers.
