Training

Strategic Communications and IT Capacity Building is part of ongoing work by Gender Links in collaboration with Gender and Media Southern Africa Network (GEMSA), its country chapters and other strategic partners to  train gender activists on how to link strategic communications with the use of IT for gender justice.

In 2008 a series of workshops were held as part of the process to move from action plans to communication strategies in countries that have adopted 365 Day Action Plans to End Gender Based Violence. The aim is to popularise the action plans based on the public education, training and awareness raising component.
