Gender Links has been contracted to do a number of Advisory Service projects under the Gender Justice ambit.

GL worked with SALGA Gauteng in pioneering the process of localising the 365 Day National Action Plan. GL partnered with SALGA Gauteng on a one day conference to extend the 365 days initiative to local government.
GL also worked with Department of Social Development (DSD)  to finalise the department's Women's Development Strategy and their Strategy for the Engagement of Men and Boys.

GL was commissioned by UNICEF and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to map promising violence prevention models in South Africa that can be scaled up. The project sought to find ways of investing more resources in prevention of gender violence and in particular in strategies that have proven to bear fruit. Emerging from the research is a recommendation of a comprehensive prevention model that from the Individual; Relationship with peers, intimate partners and family members; Community which focuses on the settings such as schools, workplaces, neighbourhoods; Societal which looks at the broad societal factors which include social and cultural norms.
