Unspoken Voices: the intersection between violence against women and HIV/AIDS

Written by Deependra Joshi et. al. (Eds) | 20 February 11

In Nepal, women are prone to violence simply because they are women. Violence against them puts them at risk of HIV infection and discrimination. With the Voices project, Equal Access Nepal produced the radio show "Samajhdari" (Mutual Understanding) to analyse the relationship between HIV/AIDS and Violence Against Women (VAW). This book is a compilation of stories that clarify the intersection between HIV/AIDS and VAW.
