The Swaziland Media literacy pilot project was launched on the 3rd of August 2009. The course which was a joint collaboration with the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Swaziland sought to empower members of the public to engage critically with the media. The course is one of several projects being run by Gender Links in partnership with training institutions in the SADC region. The course attracted wide variety of partcipants from civil society, journalists, students and members of the geral public.

Participants attending the course worked on special projects which were presented on graduation day on the 22nd of September 2009. The projects are attached below.
