Namibia: NANGOF hosts reference group meeting

The Namibia 2011 SADC Gender Protocol Barometer was reviewed at a reference group meeting held on 17 June 2011 which was hosted by the Namibia NGO Forum (NANGOF): the Namibia Alliance Focal Point.
Participants contributed to the assessment of the country's performance towards achieving the 28 targets of the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development by 2015, which will be featured in the regional 2011 Gender Barometer.
NANGOF, in its capacity as Namibia Alliance Focal Network, will soon be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Gender Links, which continues to serve as the regional Alliance Secretariat.
