“Gender, media, diversity and change” is a 23 minute documentary based on the Gender and Media Progress Study (GMPS) that involved monitoring the media from a gender perspective in 14 Southern African countries between 19 October and 16 November 2009. This video is a graphic account of the findings of the study, peppered with examples, the views and voices of those who create and consume the news. The video is also about the taking stock on the progress on gender, media and diversity in the region over the last ten years.
