Gender and Media Literacy Project for Learners in Namibia

The Namibia Media Literacy project was a joint collaboration between Gender Links, The Gender and Media Diversity Centre (GMDC) and the Namibia chapter of the Gender and Media Southern Africa Network (GEMSA) which worked with the Polytechnic of Namibia.

The course was run using a local adaptation of the GL media literacy toolkit, Watching the Watchdogs. Training commenced on the 16th June 2008 at the Polytechnic of Namibia Old Library Hall.
