The audit of commitments made during the Sixteen Day cyber dialogues in South Africa 2005 compares pledges made to outputs and outcomes over the last year. A table summarising this is attached below.

The audit concludes that what is needed over the coming year is a National Action Plan for Ending Gender Violence. In the draft action plan attached, the gaps identified in the audit are turned into proposed action points. Click on the attachment below to see proposed actions for 2006.

The intention is to use the Sixteen Day campaign this year to get comments and commitment to such a plan.
