Acceptance - four true-life Namibian stories
The rampant spread of HIV/AIDS is causing suffering throughout Namibia. Despite the difficult circumstances, people living with HIV are rising above the stigma and discrimination that they experience in our society. The videos contained o the enclosed DVD relay some of their stories as documented by 15 young Namibian filmmakers. The aim of the project was to create stories that would help break down the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS while taking young filmmakers through the process of integrating high production values with sensitive storytelling.
